Job Description
We are seeking dedicated and reliable individuals to join our team as Terminal Support for morning shifts at our Pasco, Washington facility. In this vital role, you will contribute to the smooth and efficient operation of our freight terminal by assisting with various tasks related to freight handling, sorting, and general facility maintenance. Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the loading and unloading of freight from trailers using appropriate equipment.
- Sort and stage freight according to destination and shipping instructions.
- Perform general warehouse duties, including cleaning, organizing, and maintaining a safe work environment.
- Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently (training provided if needed).
- Inspect freight for damage and report any discrepancies.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of tasks.
Required Skills
- Ability to lift and move freight weighing up to 75 lbs.
- Basic understanding of warehouse operations and safety procedures.
- Strong work ethic and reliability.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a warehouse, freight, or logistics environment.
- Forklift certification or experience operating similar equipment.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
