Job Description
We are seeking enthusiastic and reliable Hotel Porters to join our team on a casual, part-time basis at Hilton Glasgow. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals looking to gain experience in the hospitality industry, or those seeking flexible work. No prior interview is required for these casual roles, making it an ideal entry point into our esteemed hotel. You will play a crucial role in ensuring our guests have a seamless and comfortable stay from the moment they arrive, assisting with luggage, providing information, and maintaining the hotel’s welcoming atmosphere.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist guests with luggage, including carrying, storing, and delivering bags to rooms.
- Welcome guests upon arrival and bid them farewell upon departure with a friendly and professional demeanor.
- Provide accurate information about hotel services, facilities, and local attractions.
- Handle guest requests and inquiries promptly and efficiently, escalating complex issues when necessary.
- Maintain the cleanliness and tidiness of the lobby, entrance, and luggage storage areas.
- Assist with the setup and breakdown of meeting rooms or event spaces as required.
- Ensure the safety and security of guest belongings and hotel property.
- Support other hotel departments as needed to ensure smooth operations.
