Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Guest Services Associate to join our team at Thorncreek Golf Course. In this pivotal role, you will be the first point of contact for our discerning guests, ensuring they receive a warm welcome and impeccable service from arrival to departure. This position is ideal for individuals who thrive in a luxury environment, possess exceptional communication skills, and are passionate about creating memorable experiences. You will handle a variety of guest interactions, manage reservations, assist with event coordination, and contribute to the overall smooth operation of our prestigious golf course and facilities. The ability to anticipate guest needs and maintain a professional demeanor in a fast-paced setting is crucial.
Key Responsibilities
- Warmly greet and welcome all guests upon arrival, providing a high level of personalized service.
- Manage golf tee times, reservations for dining and events, and respond to guest inquiries via phone, email, and in-person.
- Assist guests with check-in processes, provide course information, and explain facility amenities.
- Process payments accurately and efficiently, handling cash and credit card transactions.
- Support the Pro Shop and Food & Beverage teams as needed, ensuring a seamless guest experience.
- Handle guest complaints and resolve issues with professionalism and discretion, escalating when necessary.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting front desk and lobby area.
- Contribute to a positive team environment and uphold the high standards of Thorncreek Golf Course.
- Assist with preparation and coordination for special events and tournaments.
Required Skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proven experience in a customer service role, preferably in a luxury or high-end setting
- Strong interpersonal skills and a genuine desire to assist guests
- Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure
- Proficiency with basic computer systems and office software

Preferred Qualifications

- Familiarity with golf course management software (e.g., ForeUp, GolfNow)
- Knowledge of golf etiquette and terminology
