Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Front Office / Reception Manager to lead our front office team at our esteemed property in Jackson, Mississippi. This role is crucial for ensuring exceptional guest experiences from arrival to departure. The ideal candidate will be a charismatic leader with a strong background in hospitality operations, excellent problem-solving skills, and a passion for service excellence. This position comes with relocation assistance for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee all front office operations, including reception, concierge, and guest services.
  • Lead, train, and mentor a team of front office staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
  • Manage guest complaints and ensure swift, satisfactory resolutions to maintain high guest satisfaction.
  • Implement and maintain high standards of guest service, checking procedures, and cash handling policies.
  • Monitor inventory of office supplies and make necessary requisitions.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless guest experiences.
  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports on occupancy, revenue, and guest feedback.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety and security regulations.
  • Manage front office budget and control expenses.

Required Skills

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a front office leadership role within the hospitality industry.
  • Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop a team.
  • Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in property management systems (PMS) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or a related field.
  • Experience with Hilton brand standards and systems.
  • Multilingual abilities.
