Job Description
Are you passionate about holistic health and eager to learn the ancient art of Shiatsu? Hand & Stone Massage and Facial Spa in Vaughan is offering a unique opportunity for aspiring practitioners to join our team as a Shiatsu Student Trainee. This intensive training program is designed to immerse you in the principles and practices of Shiatsu, a traditional Japanese bodywork therapy that uses pressure to stimulate the body’s natural healing abilities. You will receive comprehensive, hands-on instruction from experienced professionals, gaining the knowledge and practical skills necessary to become a certified Shiatsu practitioner. This role is perfect for individuals who are dedicated, detail-oriented, and committed to a career in wellness. As a Shiatsu Student Trainee, you will work closely with our expert therapists, learning the theoretical foundations and practical applications of Shiatsu within a professional studio setting. Key Responsibilities
- Actively participate in all Shiatsu training modules and workshops, demonstrating eagerness to learn.
- Learn and practice various Shiatsu techniques, points, and sequences under direct supervision.
- Observe and assist certified Shiatsu practitioners during client sessions to gain practical insight.
- Maintain accurate training logs and track personal progress toward certification goals.
- Adhere strictly to all studio policies, professional ethics, hygiene standards, and safety protocols.
- Develop a foundational understanding of Eastern energetic anatomy, physiology, and philosophy.
- Practice effective communication and client interaction skills, respecting client privacy and comfort.
- Contribute to maintaining a clean, organized, and therapeutic treatment environment.
- Prepare for and successfully complete all practical and theoretical assessments required for certification.

- Multilingual abilities (e.g., Cantonese, Mandarin, Hindi, Punjabi) to serve diverse clientele.
