Job Description
We are seeking dedicated and hardworking Field Hands to join our agricultural operations in the Gloucester area, supporting an ongoing agricultural hub. This is a crucial role for individuals who are passionate about farming and comfortable with physical work in an outdoor environment. You will be an integral part of our team, contributing to various crop cycles and ensuring the smooth running of field operations. This position offers stability with ongoing work and opportunities for development within the agricultural sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with planting, cultivating, and harvesting various crops as directed by team leaders.
- Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment under supervision, ensuring safe and efficient use.
- Perform general field maintenance, including weeding, irrigation, and crop protection activities.
- Handle and prepare produce for transport and storage, adhering to quality and safety standards.
- Support the wider farm team with various tasks as needed to ensure operational efficiency.
- Adhere strictly to all health and safety regulations and company policies.
- Monitor crop health and report any issues or abnormalities to supervisors.
- Participate in the loading and unloading of agricultural supplies and harvested crops.
