Job Description

Key Responsibilities
- Provide personalised support to individuals with autism, based on their unique care plans.
- Assist with daily living activities, including personal care, meal preparation, medication management, and household tasks.
- Support individuals in accessing community activities, education, and employment opportunities.
- Promote communication and social interaction, understanding and adapting to individual communication styles.
- Help individuals manage challenging behaviours through positive behaviour support strategies.
- Maintain accurate records and contribute to the development and review of support plans.
- Work collaboratively with families, healthcare professionals, and other team members.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of the individuals you support.

Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a care or support role (voluntary or paid).
- NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Health and Social Care (or equivalent).
- Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
- Knowledge of autism spectrum conditions and positive behaviour support.
