As a Forklift Trainee, you will receive comprehensive training on operating forklifts safely and efficiently, contributing to our crucial warehousing and distribution operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Participate actively in all required forklift training and safety programs.
- Learn to safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment.
- Assist in loading, unloading, stacking, and moving products and materials within the warehouse.
- Adhere strictly to all safety protocols and company policies.
- Perform pre-shift inspections of equipment and report any malfunctions.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and meet operational targets.
- Support inventory management by accurately counting and documenting materials.
Required Skills
- Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new procedures.
- Strong commitment to safety.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Reliable and punctual attendance.
- Basic literacy (reading and writing English).
