Job Description

Join Kal Tire’s mobile service team as a Mobile Tire Care Technician, specializing in pressure and tread checks. In this essential role, you will be the face of Kal Tire, visiting customer locations to perform routine tire inspections, ensuring optimal tire pressure, and assessing tread depth for safety and performance. This is a crucial position for maintaining our customers’ fleet health and safety, requiring a keen eye for detail and a commitment to exceptional service. You will operate a fully equipped service vehicle, bringing our expert care directly to our clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Travel to customer sites in a company-provided service vehicle.
  • Perform thorough visual inspections of vehicle tires for damage, wear, and tread depth.
  • Accurately measure and adjust tire pressure according to manufacturer specifications.
  • Document all findings and services performed using digital tools.
  • Provide basic recommendations to customers regarding tire maintenance and potential issues.
  • Maintain a clean and organized service vehicle and equipment.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies.
  • Deliver excellent customer service and represent Kal Tire professionally.

Required Skills

  • Valid Class 5 (or equivalent) driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Basic mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to lift and move tires of varying weights.
  • Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in automotive service or tire industry.
  • Knowledge of different tire types and their applications.
  • Familiarity with digital inspection tools and reporting software.
  • Certification in tire service (e.g., TIA Basic Automotive Tire Service).
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
