Job Description
We are seeking a highly professional and rigorously vetted Secure Transport Chauffeur to join our elite team in Antioch, CA. This critical role involves providing safe, discreet, and reliable transportation for high-profile clients, executives, and other individuals requiring enhanced security. The successful candidate will possess exceptional driving skills, a strong understanding of security protocols, and an unwavering commitment to client safety and privacy. This position demands a keen eye for detail, proactive threat assessment capabilities, and the ability to maintain composure in dynamic environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide secure, punctual, and discreet transportation for clients to various destinations.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip vehicle inspections and ensure optimal vehicle maintenance and cleanliness.
- Plan and verify optimal routes, considering traffic, security risks, and client preferences.
- Proactively identify and mitigate potential security threats or logistical challenges.
- Maintain strict confidentiality regarding client schedules, identities, and personal information.
- Adhere to all company security protocols, local traffic laws, and safe driving practices.
- Effectively communicate with clients and security teams as needed.
- Maintain detailed trip logs and incident reports as required.
- Remain vigilant and prepared for emergency situations, including first aid response.
- Represent Gavin de Becker & Associates with the utmost professionalism and integrity.
Required Skills
- Minimum 5 years of professional driving experience, preferably in secure transport or executive chauffeuring.
- Valid state driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Extensive knowledge of local geography and traffic patterns in the Antioch, CA area and surrounding regions.
- Proficiency in defensive driving techniques and evasive maneuvers.
- Strong observational skills and ability to anticipate and react to changing conditions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated ability to exercise discretion and maintain strict confidentiality.
- Successful completion of comprehensive background checks and security clearances.
- Current First Aid and CPR certification.
- High level of professionalism and impeccable presentation.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience in law enforcement, military, or private security.
- Advanced security driving certifications (e.g., executive protection driving courses).
- Training in threat assessment and risk management.
- Experience with armored vehicles or specialized security features.
- Proficiency in a second language.
- Tactical medical training (e.g., TCCC, TECC).
