Job Description

Join the Amazon team as a Warehouse Picker in our state-of-the-art Trafford Park Fulfillment Center. In this crucial role, you will be responsible for accurately selecting customer orders from shelves, ensuring that packages are prepared for shipment with speed and precision. Key Responsibilities

  • Accurately pick customer orders from designated storage locations using handheld scanners.
  • Ensure products are scanned, sorted, and packed according to Amazon's quality standards.
  • Operate manual and powered equipment (pallet jacks, dollies) safely and efficiently after training.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, adhering to all safety protocols.
  • Work collaboratively with team members to meet daily productivity and accuracy targets.
  • Assist with inventory counts and stock replenishment as needed.
  • Lift and move packages weighing up to 23 kg (50 lbs) regularly.

Required Skills

  • Ability to read and understand English.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Basic computer literacy to operate scanning equipment.
  • Ability to stand, walk, lift, and carry for extended periods.
  • Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
  • Commitment to safety procedures and guidelines.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics, or similar fast-paced environment.
  • Experience using handheld scanners or inventory management systems.
  • Familiarity with workplace safety standards.
