Job Description
Are you looking for flexible weekend work that puts you right in the heart of exciting events? Showsec is seeking enthusiastic and reliable Event Stewards/Ushers to join our team in Bracknell. No prior experience is required, as full training will be provided. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain experience in the events industry, work alongside a supportive team, and contribute to the success of diverse events in your local area. If you’re customer-focused, have a positive attitude, and are available for weekend shifts, we want to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities
- Provide excellent customer service, assisting event attendees with inquiries and directions.
- Manage crowd movement and ensure safety procedures are followed during events.
- Check tickets and provide guidance on seating arrangements as an Usher.
- Monitor designated areas for potential hazards or issues, reporting concerns to supervisors.
- Assist with emergency procedures, including evacuations, if necessary.
- Maintain a visible and reassuring presence to enhance the visitor experience.
- Work collaboratively with other team members, security personnel, and event organizers.
- Uphold the company's high standards of professionalism and conduct.
