Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Online Moderator Junior to join our team, specifically focused on content involving 14-year-old teens. In this entry-level role, you will be instrumental in upholding our community guidelines and ensuring a safe and positive online environment. This position requires a keen eye for detail, strong ethical judgment, and a commitment to protecting young users from inappropriate or harmful content. You will work under supervision to review user-generated content, identify violations, and take appropriate action in accordance with company policies.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor user-generated content across various platform features for adherence to community standards and safety guidelines.
- Identify and evaluate potentially harmful, inappropriate, or rule-violating content related to 14-year-old users.
- Take swift and appropriate action on reported content, including removal, warnings, or account suspension, escalating complex cases to senior moderators.
- Maintain accurate records of moderation activities and decisions.
- Contribute to ongoing efforts to improve moderation policies and tools based on emerging trends and user behavior.
Required Skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Strong ethical judgment and ability to handle sensitive content responsibly.
- Exceptional attention to detail and ability to identify subtle nuances in online interactions.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and evolving online environment.
- Basic computer proficiency and comfort with online moderation tools.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience (even volunteer) in online community management or content moderation.
- Familiarity with Roblox platform and its community guidelines.
