Job Description
We are seeking a meticulous and proactive Google Data Handler to join our dynamic financial sector team. This is a 100% remote position, offering the flexibility to work from anywhere in the UK. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing, organizing, and ensuring the accuracy of critical financial data using Google Workspace tools. This role is pivotal in maintaining data integrity, supporting various financial operations, and contributing to efficient data-driven decision-making within a robust regulatory framework.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain large datasets using Google Sheets and other Google Workspace applications.
- Ensure accuracy, consistency, and completeness of financial data in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Perform regular data entry, validation, and reconciliation tasks.
- Generate reports and dashboards from collected data to support financial analysis and operations.
- Collaborate with various departments (e.g., finance, compliance, risk) to gather and disseminate data efficiently.
- Identify and resolve data discrepancies or errors promptly.
- Assist in the development and improvement of data handling processes and procedures.
- Maintain strict confidentiality and adhere to data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR).
- Prepare data for audits and internal reviews.
- Support ad-hoc data requests and projects as needed.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in Google Workspace, particularly Google Sheets, Docs, and Drive.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data handling.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a remote environment.
- Basic understanding of data integrity principles.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Problem-solving aptitude for identifying and resolving data issues.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a data entry, data handling, or administrative role.
- Familiarity with financial terminology and basic accounting principles.
- Experience with other data management software or CRM systems.

- A relevant certification in data management or Google Workspace.
