Job Description

Join Cognizant as an Online Content Moderator specializing in health-related content for secure online communities. In this crucial role, you will be responsible for reviewing user-generated content, ensuring compliance with community guidelines, and safeguarding a positive and secure environment for users discussing health topics. This position requires exceptional attention to detail, strong ethical judgment, and a deep sense of empathy. Key Responsibilities

  • Review and analyze user-generated content (text, images, video) across various health-focused online platforms for adherence to strict community guidelines and policies.
  • Identify and take appropriate action on content that violates policies, including misinformation, graphic content, hate speech, or promotion of harmful practices.
  • Escalate complex or sensitive cases to senior moderators or specialized teams as per established protocols.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of content moderation guidelines and processes by providing feedback and insights.
  • Maintain a high level of accuracy and efficiency in content evaluation while meeting daily performance targets.
  • Stay informed about current health trends, medical terminology, and online safety best practices.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure consistency and maintain a supportive work environment.
