Job Description

We are seeking a highly creative and passionate WFH Brand Scribe to join our growing remote team. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for crafting compelling and consistent brand narratives across all our media properties and platforms. If you have an innate talent for storytelling, a meticulous eye for detail, and a deep understanding of how words shape perception, we want to hear from you. This is a fully remote position, offering the flexibility to work from anywhere within the USA, while being a core part of our Salt Lake City-based media powerhouse. You will contribute to a wide array of projects, ensuring our brand voice resonates powerfully with our diverse audiences.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain a consistent brand voice, tone, and style guide for all company communications.
  • Write, edit, and proofread engaging copy for marketing campaigns, website content, social media, press releases, and internal communications.
  • Collaborate with marketing, editorial, and design teams to translate marketing strategies into impactful written content.
  • Conduct thorough research to understand target audiences, industry trends, and competitor brand messaging.
  • Ensure all content aligns with brand guidelines, legal requirements, and best practices for SEO and accessibility.
  • Support the development of long-form content such as articles, whitepapers, and scripts as needed.
  • Manage multiple writing projects simultaneously, adhering to deadlines and maintaining high quality standards.

Required Skills

  • Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills in English.
  • Proven ability to adapt writing style to suit different target audiences and platforms.
  • Strong understanding of brand storytelling and content marketing principles.
  • Experience with content management systems (CMS) and project management tools.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced remote environment.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in basic SEO principles for content optimization.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, English, or a related field.
  • A portfolio showcasing diverse writing samples for various media platforms.
  • Experience working within the media, publishing, or entertainment industry.
