Job Description
Are you a passionate gamer with a keen eye for detail and a desire to contribute to the creation of world-class sports titles? Electronic Arts is looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated EA Sports QA Aide to join our quality assurance team in Rancho Cucamonga. This entry-level position is perfect for individuals who have recently earned their High School Diploma or GED and are eager to kickstart a career in the video game industry. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and integrity of our EA Sports titles by meticulously testing games, identifying bugs, and providing detailed feedback to development teams. No prior professional QA experience is required; we will provide comprehensive training to help you succeed.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute test plans and test cases with precision to identify defects, glitches, and inconsistencies in EA Sports games.
- Document and report bugs clearly and concisely using our internal tracking tools, including steps to reproduce, expected results, and actual results.
- Perform regression testing to verify bug fixes and ensure that new issues have not been introduced.
- Contribute to the overall quality and playability of games by providing objective and constructive feedback.
- Collaborate effectively with fellow QA team members, developers, and producers.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of assigned game features and testing methodologies.
- Adhere to strict deadlines and project schedules.
Required Skills
- High School Diploma or GED is mandatory.
- A genuine passion for video games, especially EA Sports titles.
- Exceptional attention to detail and strong observational skills.
- Ability to follow instructions and execute test plans accurately.
- Basic computer literacy and familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel).
