Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and professional Clinic Porter to join our Bupa clinic team in Mansfield. This vital role ensures the smooth operation of our clinic by providing essential support services, maintaining a clean and safe environment, and assisting patients and staff with professionalism and empathy. The successful candidate will uphold the highest standards of service and contribute to a positive experience for all.

Key Responsibilities

  • Transporting patients safely and comfortably between various areas of the clinic, including wards, treatment rooms, and reception.
  • Delivering and collecting medical equipment, specimens, and supplies efficiently.
  • Assisting with the movement and setup of clinic furniture and equipment as required.
  • Maintaining cleanliness and tidiness in communal areas, waiting rooms, and corridors.
  • Ensuring the safe disposal of clinical waste according to established procedures.
  • Providing compassionate assistance and clear directions to patients and visitors.
  • Responding promptly and courteously to requests from clinical staff.
  • Adhering strictly to Bupa's health, safety, and hygiene policies and procedures.
  • Reporting any maintenance or safety concerns to the appropriate department.
  • Supporting emergency procedures and evacuations when necessary.
