Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated Public Sector Analyst to join our Consulting team in New Port Richey, Florida. This role will focus on supporting state government agencies in enhancing their operational efficiency, optimizing processes, and improving service delivery. The successful candidate will work closely with senior consultants and client teams to gather data, analyze existing systems, identify areas for improvement, and contribute to the development of strategic recommendations. Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct research and data collection activities to support project objectives for state government clients.
  • Analyze qualitative and quantitative data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement in public sector operations.
  • Support the development of detailed reports, presentations, and other client deliverables.
  • Assist in process mapping, workflow analysis, and recommendations for operational optimization.
  • Collaborate with client stakeholders and internal teams to understand requirements and present findings.
  • Monitor project progress, track key performance indicators, and contribute to status reporting.
  • Stay abreast of public sector trends, policies, and best practices, particularly within state government.
  • Participate in client meetings and workshops, documenting discussions and action items.

Required Skills

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Demonstrated interest in public sector operations and government efficiency.
  • Bachelor's degree in Public Policy, Political Science, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior internship or project experience within a government agency, consulting firm, or public sector organization.
  • Understanding of state government structures and common operational challenges.
  • Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
  • Master's degree in a relevant field.
