Job Description
Are you eager to launch your career in the thriving beauty industry? Serene Nails & Spa is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Junior / Assistant to join our friendly team. This entry-level position is perfect for someone with little to no prior experience, offering comprehensive on-the-job training to develop professional nail care skills. You’ll work alongside experienced technicians, learning everything from basic manicures and pedicures to advanced techniques, client relations, and salon operations. Key Responsibilities
- Assist senior nail technicians with client preparation and service delivery.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and hygienic salon environment, including workstations and tools.
- Prepare and sanitize equipment and products before and after treatments.
- Greet clients warmly, offer beverages, and ensure a comfortable waiting experience.
- Learn and practice basic nail care techniques under supervision (e.g., polish application, basic filing).
- Manage towel laundry and stock rotation for salon supplies.
- Support front desk operations as needed, including scheduling appointments and processing payments.
- Adhere to all salon policies, health, and safety regulations.
