Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Healthcare Operations Analyst to join our team in West Covina. This role is crucial for optimizing operational processes, analyzing performance data, and supporting strategic initiatives across various healthcare departments. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, a deep understanding of healthcare operations, and the ability to translate data into actionable insights to drive efficiency and quality improvements. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct in-depth analysis of operational workflows, performance metrics, and resource utilization within healthcare settings.
- Identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement in clinical and administrative processes.
- Develop and implement data-driven solutions and process improvements to enhance efficiency, patient experience, and cost-effectiveness.
- Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations on operational performance, trends, and recommendations for stakeholders.
- Collaborate with clinical staff, administrative teams, and IT departments to gather requirements, implement changes, and monitor outcomes.
- Support the planning and execution of strategic projects aimed at operational transformation and innovation.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, organizational policies, and quality standards.
- Participate in cross-functional teams to achieve organizational goals and objectives.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, Tableau, Power BI).
- Strong understanding of healthcare operations, workflows, and terminology.
- Demonstrated ability to identify problems, analyze data, and propose effective solutions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of interacting with diverse stakeholders.
- Proven project coordination or management experience.
- Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in a relevant field (e.g., MHA, MBA with a healthcare focus).
- Certification in Lean Six Sigma or other process improvement methodologies.
- Experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems (e.g., Epic, Cerner).
