Job Description
We are seeking a diligent and organized Mailroom Sorter to join our dynamic team in Cheltenham. In this essential role, you will be responsible for the efficient processing and distribution of all incoming and outgoing mail and packages, ensuring the smooth flow of critical communications within our office environment. This position offers reliable hours and an opportunity to be a key part of our operational support.
Key Responsibilities
- Sort and distribute incoming mail, packages, and inter-office correspondence to the correct departments and individuals promptly.
- Process outgoing mail, including weighing, franking, and preparing items for postal or courier collection.
- Maintain accurate records of mailroom activities, including courier manifests and delivery logs.
- Handle confidential documents with discretion and care.
- Operate mailroom equipment such as franking machines, scanners, and mail openers.
- Assist with ad-hoc administrative tasks as required to support office operations.
- Ensure the mailroom area is kept clean, organized, and secure.
- Liaise with external couriers and postal services.
Required Skills
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Basic computer literacy for logging and tracking
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
- Ability to lift and move packages up to 15kg
- Good communication skills

- Previous experience in a mailroom, administrative, or office support role
