Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Junior Upstream Logistics Coordinator with a strong fleet focus to join our dynamic team in South Gate, California. This entry-level position is ideal for individuals eager to begin a career in logistics, specifically within the complex and vital upstream sector. You will play a crucial role in coordinating the movement of materials and equipment, ensuring the efficient operation of our fleet, and supporting our upstream projects. Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in planning, coordinating, and monitoring the transportation of materials and equipment for upstream operations.
  • Manage and track fleet utilization, maintenance schedules, and fuel consumption to optimize efficiency.
  • Coordinate with drivers, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure timely deliveries and pickups.
  • Maintain accurate records of all logistics activities, including vehicle logs, dispatch records, and inventory movements.
  • Help identify and resolve logistics-related issues, such as delays, damages, or discrepancies.
  • Support the implementation of safety protocols and compliance with transportation regulations.
  • Prepare reports on fleet performance, operational costs, and logistics metrics.
  • Learn and apply best practices in upstream logistics and fleet management.

Required Skills
