Job Description

We are seeking an accomplished and visionary Head of Shopify Growth to lead our digital commerce strategy and execution on the Shopify platform. This executive role demands a strategic leader with deep expertise in Shopify’s ecosystem, a proven track record of driving significant e-commerce revenue growth, and a passion for creating exceptional customer experiences. You will be instrumental in scaling our online presence, optimizing conversion rates, and identifying new opportunities to expand our digital footprint.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive Shopify growth strategy aligned with overall business objectives and revenue targets.
  • Lead and mentor a high-performing team of e-commerce specialists, developers, and marketers.
  • Oversee the end-to-end management of our Shopify Plus platform, including feature enhancements, integrations, and performance optimization.
  • Drive conversion rate optimization (CRO) initiatives through A/B testing, user experience improvements, and data-driven insights.
  • Identify and implement new Shopify apps, tools, and technologies to enhance functionality and efficiency.
  • Manage relationships with Shopify partners, agencies, and technology vendors.
  • Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to inform strategic decisions.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, product, IT, and operations teams to ensure seamless digital customer journeys.
  • Report on key e-commerce KPIs, providing actionable insights and recommendations to senior leadership.

Required Skills

  • Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in e-commerce leadership roles, with at least 5 years specifically focused on Shopify or Shopify Plus.
  • Demonstrated success in driving significant online revenue growth and conversion rate optimization.
  • Expert-level understanding of the Shopify ecosystem, including themes, apps, APIs, and headless commerce solutions.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and translate it into actionable strategies.
  • Proven leadership and team management capabilities.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Computer Science, or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree or MBA.
  • Experience with international e-commerce operations and multi-currency/multi-language Shopify stores.
  • Familiarity with marketing automation platforms and CRM integrations.
  • Certification in Shopify or relevant e-commerce platforms.
  • Experience within the athletic apparel or lifestyle industry.
