Job Description

Are you passionate about making a real difference in people’s lives? Cleveland Clinic is seeking dedicated and compassionate individuals to join our team as Disability Support Assistants. This is a meaningful entry-level role where you will provide essential support to individuals with disabilities, helping them achieve greater independence and quality of life. We offer comprehensive paid training, so no prior experience in disability support is required – just a genuine desire to help others and a willingness to learn. You will be an integral part of a supportive team, empowering individuals to live their fullest lives within their homes and communities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide direct personal care and support, including assistance with daily living activities (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and feeding.
  • Assist individuals with mobility, transfers, and transportation to appointments or community activities.
  • Support the development and implementation of individualized care plans.
  • Foster a safe, supportive, and engaging environment.
  • Encourage independence and participation in household tasks and community integration.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of services provided and client progress.
  • Communicate effectively with individuals, their families, and the care team.
