Job Description
We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Ad Content Transcriber with a strong focus on marketing compliance to join our Honolulu team. In this critical role, you will be responsible for accurately transcribing various forms of ad content, including audio, video, and written materials, into structured text formats. Your primary objective will be to identify and flag potential compliance issues within the transcribed content, ensuring all advertising adheres to industry regulations, company policies, and legal guidelines. This position requires exceptional listening skills, a keen eye for detail, and a foundational understanding of marketing ethics and regulatory frameworks.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately transcribe diverse ad content from audio, video, and written sources.
- Review transcribed content for grammar, spelling, punctuation, and overall accuracy.
- Identify and flag any content that may violate marketing compliance standards, including but not limited to, false claims, misleading information, intellectual property infringement, or sensitive content.
- Maintain strict confidentiality regarding all client and company information.
- Collaborate with marketing, legal, and compliance teams to resolve identified issues.
- Adhere to strict deadlines and quality standards for all transcription tasks.
- Utilize transcription software and tools efficiently to enhance productivity and accuracy.
- Document compliance findings and provide clear, concise reports as needed.
Required Skills
- Exceptional listening and typing skills with a high degree of accuracy.
- Proficiency in English grammar, spelling, and punctuation.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to identify subtle nuances in language and content.
- Basic understanding of marketing principles and advertising content.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Proficient with standard office software (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite).
- Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in transcription, data entry, or content review.
- Familiarity with marketing compliance regulations (e.g., FTC guidelines, industry-specific advertising standards).
- Experience with transcription software and tools.
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, English, or a related field.
