Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Human Resources Assistant with a strong focus on online recruitment to join our dynamic HR team in Midtown Manhattan. In this role, you will be instrumental in supporting the full cycle of recruitment activities, leveraging various online platforms and tools to attract top talent. You will be responsible for managing candidate pipelines, coordinating interviews, maintaining our applicant tracking system (ATS), and ensuring a seamless candidate experience from initial contact through onboarding. This position requires exceptional organizational skills, a proactive approach, and a passion for connecting great people with great opportunities at Apple.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain candidate data within the Applicant Tracking System (ATS), ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Post job requisitions on various online job boards, social media platforms, and professional networks.
- Actively source and pre-screen candidates through LinkedIn, indeed, and other online recruitment tools.
- Coordinate and schedule interviews, virtual meetings, and recruitment events for hiring managers and candidates.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for candidates throughout the recruitment process, providing timely updates and support.
- Assist in the preparation of offer letters, background checks, and new hire paperwork.
- Collaborate with hiring managers and HR business partners to understand specific recruitment needs and develop effective sourcing strategies.
- Generate recruitment reports and analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Support HR team with various administrative tasks and special projects as needed.
Required Skills
- Proficiency with Applicant Tracking Systems (e.g., Workday, Greenhouse, Taleo).
- Strong understanding of online recruitment platforms and social media sourcing strategies.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Exceptional organizational and time management abilities.
- High level of discretion and ability to handle confidential information.
- Proficiency in Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Slides) or Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- Previous experience (1+ year) in an HR Assistant or Recruitment Coordinator role, with an emphasis on online recruitment.
- Familiarity with HR best practices and employment law.
- Experience with virtual interview platforms and tools.
