Job Description
Are you looking for a rewarding summer opportunity in a stunning resort environment? The Grand, York, is seeking enthusiastic and diligent Summer Hotel Housekeepers to join our vibrant team. This temporary role is perfect for individuals who take pride in maintaining immaculate spaces and contributing to an exceptional guest experience. You’ll be instrumental in ensuring our rooms and public areas meet our exacting five-star standards, leaving a lasting positive impression on every visitor. Key Responsibilities
- Clean and service assigned guest rooms and public areas according to established standards and procedures, including making beds, replenishing linens and amenities, and sanitizing bathrooms.
- Dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and polishing furniture and fixtures to ensure a pristine environment.
- Handle guest requests and inquiries promptly and courteously, reporting any maintenance issues or safety hazards.
- Ensure all cleaning equipment is maintained and stored properly.
- Adhere to all health, safety, and hygiene regulations and company policies.
- Assist with laundry and other housekeeping duties as required.
- Maintain a professional and friendly demeanor at all times.
Required Skills

- Good physical stamina and ability to stand, bend, and lift.

Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a hotel or hospitality environment is a plus, but not essential.

- Basic knowledge of cleaning chemicals and their safe usage.
