Job Description
McKinsey & Company is seeking a highly organized, proactive, and discreet Virtual Inbox Manager to provide exceptional executive support with a think tank focus. This is a 100% remote position.
As a Virtual Inbox Manager, you will be instrumental in managing the digital communications of our senior leaders, ensuring efficiency, prioritization, and seamless workflow. Your ability to anticipate needs, manage complex schedules through inbox triage, and maintain strict confidentiality will be paramount to success in our fast-paced, intellectually rigorous environment. This role requires an individual who can not only manage an inbox but also understand the strategic context of communications, acting as a crucial gatekeeper and facilitator for our executive team.
Key Responsibilities
- Proactively manage and prioritize executive inboxes, filtering non-essential communications and flagging urgent items.
- Draft, edit, and send professional correspondence on behalf of executives.
- Schedule and coordinate complex meetings, appointments, and travel logistics (when necessary, though primary focus is inbox).
- Research and compile information from emails to support executive decision-making and project needs.
- Maintain highly organized digital archives and ensure easy retrieval of critical information.
- Act as a primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders interacting with executive inboxes.
- Implement and optimize email management strategies and tools to enhance productivity.
- Ensure confidentiality and security of all sensitive information.
- Provide administrative support as needed, leveraging inbox insights to anticipate further requirements.
