Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and meticulous Bank Teller with a strong focus on high-volume cash handling to join our team in Zephyrhills, FL. In this pivotal role, you will be the face of Truist, providing exceptional customer service while accurately processing a high volume of transactions. Key Responsibilities
- Process a high volume of customer transactions accurately and efficiently, including deposits, withdrawals, check cashing, and loan payments.
- Manage and balance a cash drawer with precision, adhering to all bank policies and procedures.
- Identify and escalate potential fraudulent activity, ensuring compliance with banking regulations.
- Provide friendly and professional customer service, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
- Promote bank products and services, making appropriate referrals to specialized bankers.
- Maintain confidentiality of customer information and bank operations.
- Assist with branch opening and closing procedures as needed.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory guidelines and internal control policies.
Required Skills
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a customer service role, preferably in a financial or retail environment with cash handling.
- Proven ability to accurately handle high volumes of cash and transactions.
- Exceptional attention to detail and strong mathematical aptitude.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency with basic computer applications and point-of-sale systems.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Bank Teller or Cashier in a high-volume setting.
- Knowledge of banking products, services, and regulatory compliance.
- Bilingual proficiency (English and Spanish) is a plus.
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field.
