Job Description

Join UMB Bank as a Bank Teller with a special focus on maintaining a safe and secure workplace. In this role, you will be the face of our branch, providing exceptional customer service while diligently adhering to all security protocols and operational procedures. We are looking for an individual who is meticulous, trustworthy, and dedicated to creating a safe banking environment for both our customers and team members. You will handle daily cash transactions, assist customers with account inquiries, and promote bank products, all within a framework of robust security practices and a culture that prioritizes everyone’s well-being.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently, including deposits, withdrawals, transfers, and check cashing.
  • Verify customer identities and transaction details to prevent fraud and ensure security.
  • Maintain strict adherence to all bank security procedures, policies, and regulatory guidelines.
  • Balance cash drawer daily and assist with branch balancing procedures.
  • Identify and report any suspicious activity or potential security risks immediately.
  • Educate customers on various bank products and services, emphasizing secure banking practices.
  • Provide friendly, professional, and excellent customer service.
  • Assist customers with inquiries and resolve basic account issues.
  • Contribute to a positive and secure team environment by following safety protocols and best practices.

Required Skills
