Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Career Development Aide with a strong interest in HR Technology to join our remote team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in supporting our employees’ career growth and development initiatives, leveraging various HR technology platforms. This position is ideal for someone passionate about fostering talent, comfortable with technology, and eager to contribute to a positive employee experience within a global organization. You will assist in managing career pathways, coordinating training programs, and ensuring the smooth operation of our HR tech tools.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the development and implementation of career development programs and initiatives.
- Support the administration and optimization of HR technology platforms related to learning and development, performance management, and career pathing.
- Provide technical support and guidance to employees on using HR development tools and resources.
- Help track employee progress in career development plans and report on key metrics.
- Coordinate logistics for training sessions, webinars, and workshops (virtual and occasional in-person as needed, respecting remote model).
- Maintain accurate records of training completions and certifications within HR systems.
- Collaborate with HR Business Partners and L&D specialists to identify employee development needs.
- Research and recommend new HR tech solutions or features to enhance career development offerings.
- Prepare communication materials and presentations related to career development opportunities.
Required Skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- A keen interest in Human Resources and Technology.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote team environment.
- Problem-solving aptitude with a proactive approach.
- Basic understanding of HR principles or willingness to learn quickly.
Preferred Qualifications
- Post-secondary education in Human Resources, Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Previous experience (internship or volunteer) in an administrative, HR, or tech support role.
- Familiarity with HRIS (Human Resources Information Systems) or LMS (Learning Management Systems) platforms.
- Demonstrated ability to learn new software and systems quickly.
