Key Responsibilities
- Participate in a structured training curriculum covering fundamental IT concepts, tools, and processes.
- Provide first-level technical support for hardware, software, and network-related issues to internal users.
- Assist in the deployment, configuration, and maintenance of IT equipment and systems.
- Troubleshoot and resolve common technical problems, escalating complex issues to senior IT staff.
- Document support procedures, solutions, and system configurations.
- Collaborate with various teams to ensure smooth IT operations and user satisfaction.
- Engage in continuous learning and professional development activities.
- Contribute to small-scale IT projects under direct supervision.
Required Skills
- Strong passion for technology and a desire to learn about IT systems and operations.
- Basic understanding of computer hardware, operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux), and networking concepts.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- High level of curiosity and eagerness to take initiative.
- Recently completed a degree or certificate in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with ticketing systems and IT service management (ITSM) principles.
- Experience with Google Workspace (Gmail, Calendar, Drive, Docs).
- Completion of the Google IT Support Professional Certificate.
- Basic scripting knowledge (e.g., Python, Bash).
- Prior experience with customer service or technical support in any capacity.
