Job Description
We are seeking a diligent and reliable Auto Body Shop Sweeper to join our team in Camrose. This entry-level position is crucial for maintaining the cleanliness, organization, and safety of our auto body repair workshop. The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and committed to supporting a productive work environment for our technicians. No prior experience is necessary; we value a strong work ethic and a willingness to learn.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform daily sweeping and mopping of workshop floors, offices, and common areas.
- Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste properly, including hazardous materials in designated areas.
- Clean and sanitize restrooms and break areas.
- Organize and maintain tools, equipment, and supplies in their designated locations.
- Assist with inventory management and restocking of cleaning supplies.
- Monitor and report any maintenance needs or safety hazards to management.
- Ensure all safety protocols and cleanliness standards are met consistently.
- Support the team with general labor tasks as needed.
Required Skills
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including sweeping, lifting, and bending.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to cleanliness.
- Reliable and punctual.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Basic understanding of workplace safety practices.
