Job Description

VML is seeking a Pinterest Formatting Assistant to join our remote team. In this role, you will be crucial in optimizing our clients’ Pinterest presence by meticulously formatting pins, boards, and descriptions to meet platform best practices and brand guidelines. This position is 100% remote, offering the flexibility you need to manage your family commitments while contributing to exciting digital marketing projects. We are looking for someone with a keen eye for aesthetics, strong organizational skills, and a basic understanding of Pinterest as a visual search engine. No prior formal work experience is required; we value dedication and the ability to learn.

Key Responsibilities

  • Format and optimize Pinterest pins including images, videos, and carousels according to specific client guidelines.
  • Write engaging and SEO-friendly pin titles and descriptions using target keywords.
  • Organize and categorize pins into relevant boards with compelling board descriptions.
  • Ensure all content adheres to brand voice, visual identity, and Pinterest's latest formatting standards.
  • Conduct basic research on trending topics and keywords relevant to client industries on Pinterest.
  • Collaborate with content creators and social media managers to align Pinterest strategy with broader marketing goals.
  • Maintain a consistent posting schedule as directed.
  • Report on common formatting issues and suggest improvements.
