Job Description

We are seeking enthusiastic and diligent Daffodil Pickers to join our seasonal team for the upcoming harvest in the beautiful Cornwall regions of England. This is a physically demanding yet rewarding role, vital to bringing fresh British daffodils to market. You will be responsible for carefully harvesting daffodils to meet quality and quantity targets, working outdoors in various weather conditions. While the work itself is based on our farms in Cornwall, we are recruiting from Glasgow to ensure a broad reach for talent. This role operates on a high piece-rate system, meaning your earning potential is directly linked to your efficiency and productivity. Full training will be provided.

Key Responsibilities

  • Hand-picking daffodils according to strict quality guidelines and specifications.
  • Working efficiently to meet daily picking targets and maintain a steady pace.
  • Handling flowers with care to prevent damage and ensure market readiness.
  • Adhering to all health and safety regulations on the farm.
  • Working effectively as part of a team in an outdoor agricultural environment.
  • Maintaining a clean and organized work area.

  • Physical fitness and stamina, with the ability to stand, bend, and lift for extended periods.
  • Reliability and punctuality.
  • Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions (rain or shine).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in agricultural work, particularly fruit or flower picking.

  • Access to reliable transportation to and from the farm locations in Cornwall (though some transport assistance may be available).
