Job Description

In this critical role, you will be immersed in a high-speed testing environment, meticulously evaluating our upcoming titles for performance, stability, and overall player experience. Key Responsibilities
- Execute comprehensive test plans and cases, focusing on game mechanics, features, and performance in high-speed and intense gameplay scenarios.
- Proactively identify, accurately document, and thoroughly track bugs, glitches, and other issues using our bug tracking software (e.g., JIRA).
- Provide detailed, constructive, and actionable feedback on game design, balance, user interface, and overall player experience.
- Collaborate closely with development teams, designers, and fellow QA professionals to ensure a shared understanding of issues and solutions.
- Verify the effectiveness of bug fixes and regression test areas impacted by changes.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of testing processes and methodologies.
Required Skills
- Demonstrated passion for video games across various genres and platforms.
- Exceptional attention to detail and strong observational skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to clearly articulate issues and feedback.
- Ability to work effectively and maintain focus in a fast-paced, dynamic, and high-pressure environment.
- Basic familiarity with bug reporting tools and methodologies (e.g., JIRA, test case management systems).
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior professional or significant personal experience in quality assurance or game testing.
- Understanding of the game development lifecycle and various testing phases.
- Experience with a variety of gaming hardware and peripherals.
- A degree or certification in a related field (e.g., Computer Science, Game Design).
- Ability to adapt to new tools and technologies quickly.
