Job Description
We are seeking a diligent and motivated individual to join our FedEx Ground team as an Entry-Level Facility Worker. This role is crucial for maintaining a clean, organized, and safe working environment within our Torrance facility. As an entry-level position, no prior experience is required, making it an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to start a career in logistics with a global leader. Key Responsibilities
- Perform general cleaning duties, including sweeping, mopping, and dusting in designated areas.
- Empty trash receptacles and manage waste disposal according to company guidelines.
- Organize and restock supplies in various work areas.
- Inspect facility areas regularly to ensure cleanliness and safety standards are met.
- Report any maintenance needs or safety hazards to supervisors promptly.
- Assist with light maintenance tasks as directed, such as changing light bulbs or minor repairs.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies.
- Operate cleaning equipment safely and efficiently.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure all facility tasks are completed effectively.
