Job Description

Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse or physician.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Monitor and record vital signs, symptoms, and other patient data.
- Assist patients with activities of daily living.
- Maintain accurate and timely patient records.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement care plans.
- Educate patients and their families on health maintenance and disease prevention.
- Ensure a clean, safe, and organized patient environment.
- Respond to patient emergencies and assist in crisis situations.
Required Skills
- Current, unencumbered LPN license in the State of Minnesota.
- Graduation from an accredited LPN program.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated commitment to patient safety and quality care.
- Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems.
Preferred Qualifications
- Minimum of one year of experience as an LPN in an acute care or clinic setting.
- Experience with diverse patient populations.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
- Ability to adapt quickly to different healthcare environments and team dynamics.
