Job Description

Join HealthPartners as a PRN Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) and take advantage of high hourly pay without the commitment of a long-term contract. Key Responsibilities

  • Provide direct patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse or physician.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
  • Monitor and record vital signs, symptoms, and other patient data.
  • Assist patients with activities of daily living.
  • Maintain accurate and timely patient records.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement care plans.
  • Educate patients and their families on health maintenance and disease prevention.
  • Ensure a clean, safe, and organized patient environment.
  • Respond to patient emergencies and assist in crisis situations.

Required Skills

  • Current, unencumbered LPN license in the State of Minnesota.
  • Graduation from an accredited LPN program.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated commitment to patient safety and quality care.
  • Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Minimum of one year of experience as an LPN in an acute care or clinic setting.
  • Experience with diverse patient populations.
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
  • Ability to adapt quickly to different healthcare environments and team dynamics.
