Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Remote Shopify Administrator to join our growing e-commerce team. This is a 100% online position offering flexible hours, perfect for someone who thrives in an autonomous environment and is passionate about optimizing online retail experiences. As a Shopify Administrator, you will be crucial in maintaining, optimizing, and enhancing our Shopify store operations, ensuring a smooth and engaging customer journey. You will work closely with marketing, product, and customer service teams to implement new features, manage product listings, and troubleshoot technical issues, all from the comfort of your home.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain product listings, collections, and inventory across the Shopify platform.
- Configure and optimize Shopify apps and integrations to enhance store functionality and user experience.
- Implement content updates, promotional banners, and landing pages as directed by marketing strategies.
- Monitor website performance, identify areas for improvement, and assist in A/B testing initiatives.
- Provide front-line technical support for Shopify-related issues, escalating complex problems to relevant teams.
- Ensure data accuracy and consistency within the Shopify admin, including customer data and order processing workflows.
- Stay up-to-date with Shopify updates, e-commerce best practices, and emerging technologies.
Required Skills
- Minimum of 2 years of proven experience as a Shopify Administrator or similar e-commerce role.
- Strong understanding of the Shopify platform, its features, and backend functionalities.
- Proficiency in managing product catalogs, orders, customers, and app integrations within Shopify.
- Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and liquid templating for minor theme adjustments.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, for remote collaboration.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a flexible, remote environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with headless Shopify or Shopify Plus.
- Familiarity with Google Analytics, SEO principles, and other e-commerce analytics tools.
- Knowledge of digital marketing strategies and their implementation on e-commerce platforms.
- Previous experience working with a global retail brand.
