Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate Shopify Specialist with a strong focus on Customer Journey and User Experience (UX) to join our dynamic team. This role is pivotal in optimizing our clients’ Shopify stores to ensure seamless, engaging, and conversion-focused experiences for their customers. You will be instrumental in analyzing user behavior, identifying pain points, and implementing solutions that enhance the entire customer lifecycle on Shopify platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive audits of existing Shopify stores to identify UX/UI issues and customer journey friction points.
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize conversion rates, average order value, and customer retention through UX improvements.
- Work closely with design and development teams to translate UX insights into actionable changes and new features.
- Manage and configure Shopify themes, apps, and custom solutions to meet specific client needs and enhance user experience.
- Utilize analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Hotjar) to monitor performance, analyze user behavior, and report on key metrics.
- Stay up-to-date with Shopify updates, e-commerce trends, and best practices in UX/UI design.
- Provide recommendations for A/B testing and conduct experiments to validate UX improvements.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to ensure a cohesive customer experience across all touchpoints.
Required Skills
- Minimum of 4 years of experience working with Shopify or Shopify Plus platforms.
- Proven experience in UX/UI design principles, customer journey mapping, and conversion rate optimization (CRO).
- Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript within a Shopify environment.
- Proficiency with Shopify theme customization (Liquid templating language).
- Experience with Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, and other e-commerce analytics tools.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to communicate complex technical information clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., Marketing, Computer Science, Design).
- Experience with Headless Shopify implementations.
- Knowledge of SEO best practices for e-commerce.
- Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., Jira, Asana).
- Shopify Partner certification.
