Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Robotics / Mechatronics Engineer to join our advanced manufacturing and research team in West Palm Beach, FL. This role involves the design, development, testing, and deployment of robotic systems and mechatronic solutions for various applications, ranging from autonomous systems to precision manufacturing. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in robotics, control systems, mechanical design, and software development, with a passion for innovation and problem-solving. This position offers relocation assistance for qualified candidates ready to make an impact.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and integrate robotic systems, including manipulators, mobile robots, and autonomous platforms.
  • Develop and implement control algorithms, machine vision systems, and sensor fusion for robust robotic operation.
  • Conduct simulation, testing, and validation of robotic systems to ensure performance, reliability, and safety.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (mechanical, electrical, software engineers) to define requirements and deliver integrated solutions.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize existing robotic systems and mechatronic components.
  • Stay abreast of new technologies and trends in robotics, AI, and automation to drive innovation.
  • Document designs, test procedures, and operational manuals.

Required Skills

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Robotics, Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of professional experience in robotics development or mechatronic systems.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as C++, Python, and MATLAB.
  • Experience with robotic operating systems (ROS).
  • Strong understanding of control systems, kinematics, dynamics, and sensor integration.
  • Familiarity with CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, CATIA) for mechanical design.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with embedded systems and real-time operating systems.
  • Knowledge of machine learning techniques for robotics applications.
  • Familiarity with industry safety standards for robotic systems.
  • Experience in aerospace, defense, or advanced manufacturing environments.
  • Publications or significant contributions to robotics projects/research.
