Aon is seeking a dedicated and client-focused Aviation, Marine & Niche Specialist to join our dynamic team in Saint-Hyacinthe, Quebec. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive risk assessments and analyses for clients in the aviation, marine, and other specialized niche sectors.
- Design and implement tailored insurance and risk management programs that align with client needs and business objectives.
- Negotiate effectively with underwriters to secure optimal terms, conditions, and pricing for complex client placements.
- Manage a dedicated portfolio of specialized accounts, ensuring exceptional client service, retention, and growth.
- Stay current with evolving industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging risks pertinent to aviation, marine, and niche markets.
- Collaborate seamlessly with internal colleagues, global practice groups, and external partners to deliver integrated solutions.
- Provide expert consultation and thought leadership on specialized risk topics to clients and internal stakeholders.
- Identify cross-selling opportunities and contribute to business development initiatives.
Required Skills
- Minimum of 4 years of progressive experience in insurance brokerage, underwriting, or risk management, with a focus on aviation, marine, or other niche industries.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze complex risk exposures and develop creative solutions.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills in English (French bilingualism preferred for Quebec).
- Strong client relationship management capabilities and a commitment to service excellence.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Proven organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Eligibility and willingness to undergo the Canadian visa sponsorship process.
Preferred Qualifications
- Relevant professional designations (e.g., CRM, CIP, FCIP).
- Experience working with international insurance markets and global clients.
- An established professional network within the aviation, marine, or other specialized sectors.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Aviation Management, Marine Sciences, or a related field.
