Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Operations Aide to join our remote team. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to the backbone of FedEx Freight operations from anywhere in the USA, focusing on providing essential administrative and operational support. The successful candidate will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth flow of information and processes that underpin our freight services. This 100% remote position requires strong organizational skills, excellent communication, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with data entry and maintenance of operational records, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Generate and distribute various reports related to freight movement, service performance, and operational metrics.
- Coordinate with different departments (e.g., dispatch, customer service, sales) to resolve operational discrepancies and inquiries.
- Support the management team by preparing presentations, scheduling meetings, and managing correspondence.
- Monitor and track shipments as needed, providing updates to relevant stakeholders.
- Process and audit operational documentation, ensuring compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
- Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and effectiveness of remote operations.
- Handle inbound and outbound communications professionally via phone and email.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
