Job Description
We are seeking a friendly, professional, and highly organized Receptionist to be the welcoming face and voice of Green Valley Ranch. In this pivotal role, you will manage our front desk operations, ensuring a seamless and positive experience for all guests and visitors. This position requires excellent communication skills, a proactive attitude, and the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome guests and visitors with a warm and professional demeanor.
- Answer, screen, and forward incoming phone calls, providing basic information when needed.
- Manage incoming and outgoing mail, deliveries, and packages.
- Maintain the reception area, ensuring it is tidy and presentable at all times.
- Assist guests with inquiries, reservations, and general information about the resort and local attractions.
- Perform administrative support tasks, such as filing, scanning, and data entry.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure guest requests are handled promptly and efficiently.
- Handle guest check-ins and check-outs, processing payments accurately.
- Maintain security by following procedures and controlling access via the reception desk.
Required Skills
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a dynamic environment.
- Customer service-oriented with a positive attitude.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a hospitality or front desk role.
- Familiarity with property management systems (PMS).
- Experience handling cash and credit card transactions.
