Job Description
We are seeking a highly detail-oriented and enthusiastic Reality TV Logger to join our fast-paced production team in Omaha. This is an excellent entry-level opportunity for someone passionate about reality television and looking to get their foot in the door of the entertainment industry. As a Reality TV Logger, you will be crucial in organizing, categorizing, and annotating raw footage, making it accessible and efficient for our editors and producers. You will need a keen eye for detail, the ability to work under tight deadlines, and a strong understanding of narrative structure within unscripted content. This role requires precision, discretion, and a proactive attitude.
Key Responsibilities
- Watch and log all raw footage from reality television productions with meticulous detail.
- Identify and timestamp key moments, character interactions, story beats, and soundbites.
- Create detailed textual descriptions of on-screen action, dialogue, and specific events.
- Categorize footage using established metadata and keyword systems.
- Flag any potential legal or clearance issues within the footage.
- Collaborate closely with producers, story editors, and post-production teams to understand project needs.
- Maintain organized logs and databases, ensuring accuracy and accessibility for all team members.
- Work efficiently to meet demanding production schedules and deadlines.
- Assist with other post-production tasks as needed.
