Job Description
Are you a devoted Star Wars enthusiast who dreams of wielding a lightsaber (virtually, of course)? Do you possess an eagle eye for detail and a passion for ensuring gaming experiences are flawless? Electronic Arts is looking for a dedicated Star Wars Jedi Series Tester to join our team. This is a unique opportunity for individuals with a strong passion for gaming and the Star Wars universe, even if you don’t have a traditional tech degree. You’ll play a crucial role in the development cycle of our next-generation Star Wars Jedi titles, identifying bugs, providing feedback, and contributing to the overall quality of the game before it reaches millions of players. Key Responsibilities
- Execute detailed test plans and test cases for Star Wars Jedi series games across various platforms.
- Identify, document, and track software defects (bugs) using our internal bug tracking system.
- Provide clear, concise, and comprehensive bug reports, including steps to reproduce, expected results, and actual results.
- Perform regression testing to verify bug fixes and ensure no new issues have been introduced.
- Collaborate closely with developers, designers, and other QA team members to ensure product quality.
- Offer constructive feedback on gameplay, design, and user experience from a player's perspective.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest Star Wars lore and gaming trends to inform testing insights.
- Participate in daily stand-ups and team meetings, contributing to a positive and productive work environment.

- No prior tech degree or formal experience required, but a strong desire to learn and grow in the gaming industry.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with game testing methodologies and bug reporting tools (e.g., Jira, TestRail).
- Experience playing various action-adventure games, especially Star Wars titles.
- Ability to articulate game issues and provide constructive feedback on gameplay mechanics.
- Basic understanding of game development cycles.
- Prior experience in any form of quality assurance or detailed review processes.
