Job Description
Are you meticulous, detail-oriented, and passionate about food quality? General Mills is seeking a diligent Food Service Quality Rater to join our team in Bloomington, MN. In this routine yet crucial on-site role, you will be instrumental in ensuring that our food service products meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and sensory attributes before reaching our customers. You will perform routine inspections, conduct sensory evaluations, and meticulously document findings to uphold our commitment to excellence. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct routine visual and sensory inspections of food service products and ingredients according to established protocols.
- Document all quality findings, deviations, and non-conformances accurately and promptly using designated systems.
- Monitor production processes to ensure adherence to quality control points and food safety standards.
- Collaborate with production teams to address quality issues and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and safety regulations.
- Participate in training and calibration sessions to ensure consistent rating standards across all products.
Required Skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to identify subtle differences in product quality.
- Excellent observational skills and ability to follow precise instructions.
- Basic computer proficiency for data entry and documentation.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.

Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service, quality control, or a related field.
- Knowledge of food safety principles (HACCP, GMP).
- High school diploma or equivalent.
