Job Description
Are you a Gen Z or teen who lives and breathes internet culture? Do you have an innate ability to spot emerging trends and transform them into shareable, viral content? Warner Bros. Discovery is seeking a talented and passionate Remote Meme & Viral Content Creator to join our dynamic digital team. This is a unique opportunity for individuals with a deep understanding of the Gen Z and teen landscape to create engaging memes, short-form videos, and other viral content that resonates with younger audiences across various social media platforms. This is a 100% remote position, offering flexibility and the chance to contribute to global brands from anywhere.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and analyze emerging trends, memes, and viral content relevant to Gen Z and teen demographics.
- Concept, create, and produce original memes, short-form videos, GIFs, and other visual content that aligns with brand voice and digital strategy.
- Adapt existing content into shareable, platform-specific formats (e.g., TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts).
- Collaborate with content strategists and marketing teams to brainstorm new ideas and campaigns.
- Monitor content performance and audience engagement to inform future content creation.
- Stay up-to-date with social media platform features and best practices for viral content creation.
Required Skills
- Deep understanding of Gen Z and teen internet culture, humor, and communication styles.
- Proficiency with content creation tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, video editing apps).
- Strong portfolio or examples of personal social media content demonstrating viral potential.
- Excellent understanding of various social media platforms (TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, Snapchat).
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, remote environment.
- Exceptional creativity and a keen eye for engaging visuals.
Preferred Qualifications
- Active presence on relevant social media platforms.
- Experience in a similar content creation role (even if informal or personal projects).
