Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Junior Wind/Solar Tech to join our dynamic team in Pasco, WA. This entry-level position is ideal for individuals eager to start a career in renewable energy and contribute to the diversification of our energy sector. You will receive comprehensive training and work alongside experienced technicians to perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on wind turbines and solar photovoltaic systems. This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience and grow within a rapidly expanding industry.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist senior technicians with routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs of wind turbine and solar panel components.
  • Learn and apply safety protocols and procedures for working at heights and with electrical systems.
  • Troubleshoot basic electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic issues under supervision.
  • Perform data collection and reporting on system performance and maintenance activities.
  • Maintain tools, equipment, and vehicles in good working condition.
  • Participate in all training programs and professional development opportunities.
  • Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and environmental regulations.

Required Skills

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude.
  • Ability to work at heights (wind turbines) and in various weather conditions.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Basic computer proficiency.
  • Commitment to safety and quality workmanship.
  • Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Associate's degree or technical certification in wind energy, solar technology, electrical systems, or a related field.
  • Previous experience in a hands-on technical role (e.g., automotive, HVAC, industrial maintenance).
  • Familiarity with renewable energy concepts.
  • OSHA 10/30 certification.
